Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 July 2026
Moodmark is a visual bookmark manager for designers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who processes it. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and name, handled by our authentication provider.
- What you save — the URLs, page titles, screenshots, color palettes, detected fonts, notes, and tags of the sites you bookmark.
- Basic usage data — anonymous, aggregate metrics (page views) to understand how the product is used. No tracking across other sites.
The Chrome extension
When you click the Moodmark extension, it reads the current tab (its URL, title, and a screenshot) and the fonts, colors and technology used on that page — only that page, only when you click it. It does not track your browsing.
Who processes your data
- Clerk — authentication (sign-in, your account).
- Cloudflare — hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Bunny.net — database and screenshot storage.
- OpenAI — a saved screenshot is sent to OpenAI to suggest tags. It is used only to generate suggestions for you.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your saved references for anything other than showing them back to you and to the people you explicitly share a collection with.
Your control
You can delete any bookmark or your whole account at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved data. Public collections are only visible when you choose to share them.
